Yes, I am Old School

Yes, I’m old school. I have good manners, treat others with respect, and am always willing to assist those in need. It’s not that I’m old-fashioned; it’s that I was raised correctly.

Many times, people appear to be immoral and lacking in basic civility.

I was raised by responsible parents who instilled in me decent manners and the ability to respect others.

Even when they have offended me so badly, I always aid those in need; however, I have learned that two wrongs never make a right.

I’ve learnt to always do the right thing, regardless of the circumstances.

Even in the most difficult situations, I was taught to demonstrate compassion and care, even to those who had mistreated me so badly.

It’s not because I’m old-fashioned; it’s because I was properly raised and am proud of who I’ve become.

I was tempted many times to do what my friend did, but I was raised by responsible parents whom I didn’t want to disappoint.

My friends think I’m old fashioned, but I know it’s the correct thing to do

Friends of mine were becoming touts, but they loved it since they believed that is the current way the world is.

I’ve never smoked or gotten drunk at the age of twenty-seven.
All of this wasn’t because I didn’t have the chance or because my parents were overprotective.

I was taught to distinguish between proper behavior and inappropriate behavior.

I’ve been tempted many times to jump aboard the moving train, but I never did because I realized it would lead to my demise.

I could see what the future holds, and I’m not going to risk it just because I’m old school.
