I understand that it is difficult to be the individual you really want to be in day and age, and that the people around you can pull you in a variety of different directions as you try to find out where you want to go, but you must stay strong. Allowing the world to tell you that you have to be slim, feminine, or something else is a mistake.

You don’t have to fit into some stereotype image just because you’re a woman. You can be happy in your very own way, and the friends and family  in your life who refuse to let you be happy do not warrant your time and energy in the first place. Stop listening to what people who don’t matter choose to say; at the end of the day, you are the only one who has to deal with what you have to deal with.

The path to being true to yourself will be riddled with confusion, but that is precisely what makes it so unique. If you’re not satisfied, make the adjustments you believe would help you better represent things. If you fail the first time, try again.

If you’re trapped, do what you think you need to do to get out of it. Live each day to the fullest extent possible in the ways that you see fit. Never believe someone who tells you that you can’t do anything because you’re a woman, and never believe that you’re supposed to be locked off and protected only because you weren’t born a guy. I understand how difficult it is to break free and stand on your own, however you are more than capable.

I let the people in my life hold me back for a long time, but now that I’m doing what I love and working toward a life I can be proud of, I’m finally happy. I wasted way too many days searching for peace of mind in the wrong ways, and I truly wish I had known what I know now when I was younger.

You are the only one on the planet who really understands what is right for YOU. Take life by the horns and live in the moment. Tomorrow is never guaranteed, but if you want to live on the edge or concentrate on a particular target, you should be able to do so. You deserve a life that you can be proud of, and you can achieve it if you work hard enough.
